Phu My Fertilizer: The secret to bumper harvests of melons and durians in the Central Highlands

Durian export turnover in 2023 reached 3.2 billion USD, with a strong growth rate of acreage, growing over 20% per year. Based on this reality, over the past many years, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) has conducted many demonstration models using Phu My Fertilizer effectively in key durian growing areas such as Khanh Son (Khanh Hoa), Ea Kenh (Krong Pak, Dak Lak), and Chu Se (Gia Lai). These models have been highly appreciated by farmers for their outstanding efficiency. There are trees that have been severely depleted since previous years, but when fertilized with PVFCCo's Phu My fertilizer products including Phu My Nitrogen, Phu My NPK 16-16-8+13S+TE, Phu My NPK 15-15-15+TE and Polysulphate, not only are the trees restored but they also bring high productivity, beautiful appearance, delicious quality and most importantly, no cracking or hardening of the fruit. In addition, PVFCCo's market officers also guide durian fertilization with economical and effective cultivation processes and use of organic and biological products, limiting the use of chemical pesticides to help farmers grasp advanced cultivation techniques to produce durian according to Vietgap standards, towards Globalgap, thereby forming a safe and quality specialty crop area for export.

In 2024, with the motto "Phu My Fertilizer - For a bumper crop", Phu My Fertilizer continues to research and launch a specialized product line for durian trees including:

• Phu My NPK 20-10-10+TE: Use from the recovery stage to young fruit growth.
• NPK Phu My 15-8-17+TE: Use after selecting fruit.

In recent years, many people in the Central region have chosen Watermelon - a type of melon that produces sweet, fragrant, and cool fruit - as a means of livelihood. This is a crop that brings high productivity and profit margins with the characteristic of a short growing period (65 - 70 days in the Spring-Summer crop, 70 - 75 days in the Fall-Winter crop).

Following in the footsteps of this melon grower, Phu My Fertilizer has always accompanied farmers in production every year.
